The San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) Board of Education’s next regular meeting on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, will be held in person and open to the public.

It will be the first Board meeting in more than 15 months where all Board members will be present in the same room and the public will be allowed to attend in person. The last time the Board of Education held an in-person meeting was March 17, 2020.

The July 6 meeting will also be the first time that Board member Mayra Ceballos will be able to meet in person with all of her fellow Board members. Ceballos was elected to the Board in November 2020, during the middle of the pandemic. She was sworn in during a virtual Board meeting on December 15, 2020.

Members of the public who attend the Board meeting must wear face coverings, regardless of their vaccination status. All attendees will be required to submit to a contactless temperature screening upon entering the building. Public comment may be provided in person at the meeting or via Zoom. To request to make a comment via Zoom, follow the directions and complete the online form.

The Board of Education meets Tuesday, July 6, 2021, 5:30 p.m., at the Board of Education building, 777 North F Street, San Bernardino. The meeting will be held in the Dr. Margaret Hill Community Room, named for current Board member and former SBCUSD principal Dr. Margaret Hill.
