The SBCUSD Board of Education announced on Friday, March 13 all schools will be closed and all classes cancelled effective Monday, March 16, in response to COVID-19 concerns. During the week of March 16-20:

1) All SBCUSD elementary schools will offer emergency childcare for enrolled students up to age 11 to support working families with no other childcare options during the week of March 16-20 from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the following manner: parents must sign students in and out and complete an emergency information card.

2) SBCUSD will provide breakfast and lunch to all students and charter school students age 18 and under at all SBCUSD schools.

3) All District managers will report to work. Only employees, deemed essential by their supervisor, will be contacted to report to work on Monday, March 16.
