Parents/guardians, the public, and the media are invited to attend a Title VI Public Hearing on April 10, 2018, at 6 p.m. related to the renewal of a federal grant for the San Bernardino City Unified School District’s (SBCUSD) Indian Education Program.
During the public hearing, attendees will learn about the objectives, activities and goals of the Indian Education Program.
Over the years, the program has provided academic and social support to Native American students from more than a dozen different tribes. The program also provides hands-on opportunities for the entire community to learn about Native American culture.
The famous Sitting Bull once said, “Let us put our minds together and see what life we can make for our children.”
SBCUSD invites the community to come together to see what we can do for our students.
The Title VI Public Hearing will be held April 10, 6 p.m., in Conference Room B of the Professional Development Center (PDC), 4030 Georgia Blvd. in San Bernardino. Call (909) 473-2076 for directions or more information.
